Ho Chi Minh City hosts an established Muslim community including Cham Bani Muslims (indigenous Vietnamese Muslims), as well as Indonesian, Malaysian, and Indian Muslim diaspora communities. Main Mosques
- Jamiul Muslimin Mosque — District 1: HCMC's largest and most active mosque on Nguyen Trai Street near Ben Thanh Market. Friday prayers draw hundreds. Open to visitors outside prayer times.

Pham Ngu Lao has a high concentration of halal Malaysian, Indian, and Middle Eastern restaurants. Arabic grocery stores stocking familiar products for Gulf visitors are also present.

Surrounding the iconic Ben Thanh Market, this area has several halal dining and café options. Centrally located with easy metro access.
