Überblick
Überblick Vinh Long ist eine Provinz im Zentrum des Mekong-Deltas, eingebettet zwischen dem Tien- und dem Hau-Fluss mit einem charakteristischen dichten Netz aus Kanälen und Wasserstraßen.
Die Provinz ist berühmt für ihre üppigen Flussinseln, darunter die Inselchen An Binh und Binh Hoa Phuoc, beliebte Ziele für Ökotourismus mit Heimataufenthalt.
Vinh Long besitzt reichhaltige Obstgärten mit Rambutan, Longan, Pomelo, Durian und verschiedenen tropischen Früchten.
Vinh Long ist zudem ein Land mit reichen revolutionären Traditionen und zahlreichen historischen Stätten aus den Widerstandskriegen.
Wirtschaft
Die Wirtschaft stützt sich auf Reisanbau, Obstanbau, Aquakultur, traditionelle Ziegel- und Töpferproduktion sowie Flussgartenökotourismus.
