Überblick
Überblick Phu Tho ist eine Provinz im nördlichen Mittelland Vietnams, bekannt als „Ahnenland" des vietnamesischen Volkes, wo die Hung-Könige, Gründerväter der vietnamesischen Nation, verehrt werden.
Die Verehrung der Hung-Könige am Hung-Tempel und der Hat-Xoan-Gesang von Phu Tho sind beide als immaterielles UNESCO-Kulturerbe anerkannt.
Die Provinz liegt am Zusammenfluss des Roten Flusses, des Da und des Lo und nimmt eine strategische Position zwischen der Nordwestregion und dem Delta des Roten Flusses ein.
Der Gedenktag der Hung-Könige am 10.
des dritten Mondmonats ist ein Nationalfeiertag, der jährlich Millionen von Pilgern anzieht.
Wirtschaft
Die Wirtschaft entwickelt sich über Papier- und Chemieindustrie, Baustoffe, Landwirtschaft und spirituellen Tourismus.
