Überblick
Überblick Ca Mau ist die südlichste Provinz Vietnams an der Spitze der Ca-Mau-Halbinsel; das Kap Dat Mui markiert den südlichsten Festlandspunkt des Landes.
Die Provinz ist auf drei Seiten vom Meer umgeben und besitzt einzigartige Mangrovenwaldökosysteme, darunter den Nationalpark Kap Ca Mau, ein UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat, und den Nationalpark U Minh Ha mit seinem wertvollen ursprünglichen Kajeputwald.
Das Kap Dat Mui von Ca Mau gilt als heiliges Symbol der vietnamesischen Gebietshoheit.
Besonderheiten
Ca Mau ist berühmt für Garnelenzucht und Fischfang und zählt zu den größten Garnelen produzierenden Provinzen Vietnams.
Wirtschaft
Wirtschaft Die Wirtschaft entwickelt sich über Aquakultur, Forstwirtschaft, Gasförderung im Industriekomplex Gas-Strom-Düngemittel von Ca Mau und Ökotourismus.
